About Julianne
(aka Aunt Juju)
Born and raised in Wichita, Kansas, Julianne brings a rare blend of curiosity, storytelling, and scientific depth to everything she creates.
She describes herself as perpetually curious and has little patience for poorly explained ideas. At her core, she believes complex concepts do not need to be intimidating. They just need to be explained better.
What fuels her most is her role as “Aunt Juju” to her two young nephews. For them, and for children everywhere, she is driven to make the world feel more understandable, more exciting, and full of possibility.
A Foundation
in Science
Julianne holds a BS in Microbiology with a minor in Genetics from North Carolina State University, an MSPH in Environmental Science and Engineering from UNC Chapel Hill, and an MBA from Georgia Tech.
Over the course of 14 years in science, her work has spanned research, development, and commercialization across organizations ranging from the Environmental Protection Agency to biotech companies.
Her Experience Includes:
- studying bacterial physiology to support the development of new medicines
- researching the neurological impact of nanoparticles
- contributing to rapid flu detection efforts
- working in pre clinical drug development for spinal muscular atrophy
Her career has always been rooted in one thing. Understanding how the world works at a deeper level and helping others do the same.
FROM SCIENCE
TO TECHNOLOGY
After years in the lab, Julianne transitioned into the world of technology. She brought with her the same curiosity and problem solving mindset that defined her scientific work.
Across roles in solution engineering, leadership, and operations, she has spent the last several years helping organizations navigate complexity, adopt new technologies, and rethink how they operate.
While the tools changed, the mission did not.

Chase Street Press was inspired by the street where Julianne grew up and by the sunflower, a symbol of curiosity, growth, and always turning toward the light.
At its core, the work is driven by a simple belief
When we expand what children are exposed to, we expand what they believe is possible.
Through storytelling and interactive experiences, Julianne is creating new entry points into science, curiosity, and discovery. She is helping children see how what they learn connects to the real world.
Beyond
the work
Outside of her professional life, Julianne is an avid traveler and has explored 22 countries and 34 US states. She is also the proud and slightly obsessed dog mom to her boxer, Scarlett.
Her curiosity does not stop at work. She is constantly learning through podcasts that span science, history, technology, and even sports.
